Finance and Administration Chairman
John M. Aria, Jr. has resided in West Long Branch since 2001. He is a fourth generation resident of the Borough, since his parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents all have resided in West Long Branch.
John was elected to the Borough Council in November 2010. He serves as Chairman of the Finance and Administration Committee and is a member of the following committees: Police; Recreation, Environmental, and Shade Tree; Shore Regional High School Liaison, and Monmouth University Liaison.
Prior to winning his council seat, John served on the WLB Zoning Board of Adjustment from January 2006 through December 2010, and was the Board’s Chairman from January 2008 through December 2010.
John is a graduate of Monmouth College and works as a Certified Public Accountant and a partner with the firm of Donato, Hayes & Co., CPA, LLC, located in Allenhurst, NJ.
Councilman Aria resides at 522 Cedar Avenue with his wife, Karen, and their children, Joseph and Karmella.
