Councilman Jose E. Villa had been a resident of West Long Branch from 1974 to1986 and moved back to the Borough in 2005. His mom still lives in West Long Branch, as well.
Prior to winning his Council seat in November, he was sworn in to fill the
balance of Councilman Joe Woolley’s un-expired term. Jose had served on the West Long Branch Zoning Board of Adjustment from January 2008 to June 2010.
Jose graduated from Shore Regional High School in 1979. He earned a BS in marketing from Monmouth College in 1984, and went on the earn an MS from Stevens Institute of Technology in 2001. Jose works as a Claims Director with Plymouth Rock Assurance Corporation of NJ.
Councilman Villa resides at 4 Arlene Drive with his wife, Julie, and daughters, Lauren,
Michelle, and Samantha.
