Born in Long Branch, NJ and graduated from Long Branch High School. Graduated from Kean College (now known as Kean University) with a primary and secondary degree in education. My wife Margaret “Maggie” and I built our home on 6 Pinewood Ave. in 1984, where we currently reside.

I was awarded the prestigious Carnegie Medal for Heroism in 1976 for saving two boys (9 and10 years old) and their father from drowning in the ocean at Cottage Ave, in Long Branch, NJ.

As former high school teacher at Rumson Fair Haven Regional, HS, I decided to pursue a career in international sales, marketing and management. For the past 31+ years, I have successfully implemented the sales, marking business strategies that enable ceramic tile factories from Italy, England, Spain, Brazil and Argentina to gain a foothold into the USA. Currently a USA Consultant for an Italian manufacturing group with focus on highly engineered porcelain slab exterior building façade systems.

I served on the West Long Branch Zoning Board and was the past Chair Person and presently a West Long Branch Councilman.
