Councilman Christopher Neyhart chairs the Police Committee.  He is also a member of the following committees: Public Works; Recreation, Environmental and Shade Tree; Shore Regional High School Liaison; and Monmouth University Liaison.  

Councilman Neyhart is a life-long resident of West Long Branch and was elected to the Borough Council in 2005.  He is the Alternate Community Development Representative.

Mr. Neyhart is a retired Police Officer with numerous awards, including several life-saving awards.  He is currently a Broker sales person with Preferred Properties Real Estate in Rumson, and a Safety Advisor with Eosso Brothers Paving.  Mr. Neyhart is a member and past Grand Knight of Long Branch Council 335 Knights of Columbus.  He is also an Eagle Scout and hunter.  Councilman Neyhart is a former softball, baseball, basketball and soccer Coach with WLB Sports Association.  In addition, he served as a Den Leader for Cub Scout Pack 145, Committee Member with Boy Scout Troop 145, and as an Advisor for the WLB Police Explorers.

Mr. Neyhart, his wife Andrea, and their children Brandon, Gina, and Anthony, reside on Bampton Place.
